Community Build Showcase - Update #1

My role at The Daily Wizz, first and foremost, is to provide community updates and to help foster community growth and to do so through the type of high quality journalism befitting a small Minecraft server. So I thought it would only be proper that I put to record our first Community Build Showcase! In these updates, I will do my best to respectfully showcase and capture the cool and unique bases/builds our wonderful members have devoted their creativity and time to. And, in doing so, I hope to catalog and archive these early days on the server so we can all look back fondly and see just how far we have come.

It will be more show and less tell. As I would prefer to let these photos speak for themselves. That being said...the occasional comment might have to come out of me depending on the photo and context!

I'm going to start this off with some quick updates. Firstly, the server world border (as of midnight Dec. 1) has been expanded to a 25,000 block diameter! And second, we have reliably connected voice chat to the server this week (a feature I think most members reading this have discovered and enjoyed as of late on the server).

Now with those out of the way, let's get to the showcase!

Grim_Valanthe

Grim has started the server off with a proper cabin in the winter village!

The inside is somehow even more charming than the outside.

FoxeeTeaLeaf

Though filled with rats and seemingly illegal activity. Fox has sure put together a great starter base!

They have even added a meandering garden trail down the mountain to a fishing platform.

An apple tree kindly covers the fishing area below their home.

Panda is putting together a lovely little two story next to Fox! I absolutely adore the Spruce beams being built in!

Being our most recent new addition, I caught Godric just as they were starting their new home! Welcome, Godric!

Stoney2008

Very steampunk chic! Stoney's island south of spawn is just starting to come together and is filling with machines fast!

I believe we have mentioned his famous plane in a previous article?!

I took a joyride with him in it! It was an absolute blast!

MauiPanda

Maui is another top tier create mod engineer on the server with us!

They are building up a beautiful area just southeast of world spawn.

Nova has settled down a bit more north and looks to be preparing their property for big things in the future!

Ze, like many of us, is building up a couple of places right now. This here is the start of his winter village plot!

And pictured here is his new foundational platform in the southeast corner of the map!

These photos really are such a small taste of what everyone is up to on the server! But any and all history I can catalog here for all of us will be worth it in the end.

I want to thank everyone who got this far in another Daily Wizz article and say I can't wait for the next update and to see how everything evolves as we get more settled! Talk soon.
